 APPEARANCE
laurie stands at 5'7, with shoulder-length blonde-brown hair that usually has a messy look to it - whether this is because she doesn't care or because she just can't contain it? who knows. it's usually parted slightly to the left and has no visible styling. her clothing tends to be modest and practical: a collared button-up shirt, v-neck swearers, sensible trousers, a knee-length skirt. the colours are muted, and she blends in with your regular girl wandering around the neighbourhood with her more outgoing friends. she can often be found holding books close to her chest, giving her a quiet, observant appearance. in halloween ii, her outfit is unchanged but becomes more dishevelled as she goes on. her hair becomes even more unneat, falling messily around the place, and her clothes become messier. in dead by daylight, she would be found with dirt or blood covering her instead - either her own, the killer's, or other people's.

 HISTORY
in 1978, laurie is introduced as a quiet, responsible babysitter living in haddonfield, illinois. on halloween night, she becomes the target of michael myers, who stalks her throughout the evening. despite having no knowledge of who he is, laurie is quick to fend him off multiple times, even as he slaughters her friends around her, all the while protecting the kids she's babysitting. by the night, she's stabbed him in the eye with a makeshift weapon (hanger), and survives through her endurance and instinct - traumatised, byut saved by dr. loomis.

in halloween ii, laurie is taken to the hospital to recover, only to find michael once again coming for her. they may or may not be siblings depending on the mood i'm in! she's injured, sedated, isolated - but still managed to survive., escaping michael and he is presumed dead.

in dead by daylight, benedict baker has this to say:

I stumbled upon another soul in this doomed corner of the earth. I do not know her name, but there is something about her. I have never crossed paths with her, but she seems as if she's been doing this for far too long. Weary of the environment, clad in a kind of controlled panic, constantly looking over her shoulder, on the lookout.

 PERSONALITY
The epitome of a Survivor, Laurie Strode exemplifies determination in the face of pure evil. Even while being relentlessly pursued, she’s able to muster the strength to fight back against all odds.
